What's included in each package
  • Registration with HMRC
    We will advise HMRC of registration for self assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns, VAT and PAYE schemes where appropriate.
  • Initial tax planning meeting (by telephone or face to face depending on location)
    Within a couple of weeks we will arrange a time to visit or call you (depending on location) to discuss tax efficiency, your responsibilities and what we will be doing for you.
  • Referral to specialist buy to let mortgage broker and financial planner
    Our trusted Financial Advisor partners are buy to let specialists and on hand for tailored mortgage and other investment advice.
  • Referral to trusted conveyance solicitor partners
    Our trusted solicitor partners offer a fixed fee conveyance service for buy to let investors.
  • Bookkeeping system
    An excel based bookkeeping system to keep track of income and expenditure.
  • Preparation of profit and loss account
    We will prepare a yearly summary of income and expenditure for your buy to let activities.
  • Preparation and submission of Self Assessment Tax Return
    We will prepare and submit your Personal Self Assessment Tax Return (SA100) to HMRC.
  • Unlimited telephone and email support
    We would much rather you feel free to contact us whenever you want so we do not charge extra for telephone and email support. Our fixed fee covers unlimited support from our accountants and tax consultants.
  • Abbreviated Accounts prepared and submitted to Companies House
    We prepare and submit the Company’s abbreviated accounts to Companies House
  • Full Accounts and Corporation Tax Return prepared and submitted to HMRC
    We prepare and submit the Company’s full accounts and Corporation Tax return to HMRC.
  • Companies House Confirmation Statement prepared and submitted to Companies House
    We prepare and submit the Companies House Annual Return each year. This is a non-financial return showing registered office address, Director and shareholder information.
  • Payroll for up to 2 employees
    We will advise you on the most tax efficient salary and set this up for the Director (and another employee where applicable). Each month we will submit RTI payroll returns to HMRC on your behalf.
  • Additional properties
    We make a small additional charge for any additional properties you add to your portfolio.
  • Tax investigation insurance and 24 hour business and legal helpline
    Protect yourself and/or the Company from additional costs incurred with an HMRC enquiry with £100,000 of cover provided by Abbey Tax.
